up until we had driver Tech installed into our trucks i used Delorme which wasnt always 100% accurate but good enough to get you into the neghaborhood, i upgraded to the 2006 verson which was the last year i used it but it still had a few problems i would have liked to have seen worked out it was still missing roads in Chicago Area, THE ADDRESS BOOK WAS INVALUABLE because once you finally made it to the shipper // Receiver you could Right click on your green dot and Save that customer via gps location then add the address as side bar information the only downside is that it could only store 200 locations. These developers would do everyone a favor by sticking to the defined Windows GUI which SA and S&T both did.Well i voted Twice once for Delorme and once for other software. After 10/23 came and went last week, with their website still showing expected to ship I called to ask when Street Atlas 2013 was actually going to be available. Street Atlas 2013 was originally supposed to be available 10/15, which subsequently was delayed to 10/22.

As a suggestion insert the first install disk. It may be necessary to purchase a later (compatible with Windows 8) version of the Atlas program. Sadly not all software that worked with previous versions of Windows will work with Windows 8. RV Trip Wizard is a subscription service and works rather well for planning trip once you adjust to it's many quirks. As a street atlas I would say it is somewhat out of date. Plus this is now dead software but you can still buy it on Amazon. And while it claims to have a navigation mode, it is worthless since it opens a tiny window that can not be expanded for navigation. I find it is a pain in the butt to use for planing tho. RV Plan'N-gets down to the backroad level showing Forest Roads in detail. I still use SA for general navigation, the roads have not changed that much.
